It is always necessary to have some apple cider vinegar at the reach of your hand as it can literally save the day sometimes.
However, it is highly important that you buy, consume and use raw organic ACV as it is the best way of fully reaping its health benefits. If you don’t like buying it from your local supermarket, then you can always prepare it at home. It is extremely simple and worth it.
Preparing Your Own Raw Organic ACV
Ingredients you’re going to need:
-Water
-Sugar
-Organic apples
Preparation:
Start off by washing the apples well and slicing them into pieces. Put the apple slices in a glass jar add sugar (10 g sugar for every kilogram of apples). The sugar is necessary for the fermentation process and will be lost in the final product. Once you’ve added the sugar, fill up the jar with water, cover it with gauze and leave it to sit in room temperature (20 Degrees Celsius).
In about 7 to 10 days, the jar will start releasing a sour odor, meaning that you should transfer the jar in some place other than your kitchen as the odor will get even stronger. In about 1 month time, your homemade ACV will be ready. You will be able to taste the sourness of vinegar.
After the apple cider vinegar is ready, strain the liquid through the gauze and store it in sterilized glass bottles. If you prefer your apple cider vinegar even more sour, let it sit for a few more days before straining it.
